This postcard is from the New York World's Fair and pairs nicely with my May post about the AMF monorail at that fair. The caption on the back of this Dexter Press postcard states: NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR "Peace through Understanding". The New York World's Fair was the largest international exhibition ever built in the United States. More than one hundred fifty pavilions and exhibits spread over six hundred forty-six acres helped the fair live up to its reputation as "the Billion-Dollar Fair."Brand: Arcadia Publishing Inc.
